With due reverence it is stated that Qalamkar Creative Writing Forum, as the name indicates, is a renowned platform which is solely dedicated to cultivating and nurturing the art of creative writing in students. Mr. Naeem Ullah Anmol created this society in 2013 and undoubtedly, the art of creative writing revived its way back to the members of the human race. Whether it's poetry, short stories,or essays, QCWF celebrates all forms of literary expressions.
At the heart of Qalamkar, lies the innate passion for written word. The power of words is as potent as sorcery. And with that, Qalamkar has been successfully conducting various intra-university events which leave an imprint in the legacy of the University of Gujrat. One of which is the infamous Ramooz. Every year Ramooz finds its way to enhance the beauty of literature, to ignite a spark of literary passion within the young, talented students of this university.
Not to mention, QCWF organizes a successful inter-university event every year which goes by the name "Qalam" and indeed, the "Qalam" proved to be mightier than sword since all the talented writers assemble in UOG and declare their love for writing and literature. Continuing further, it is the duty of this forum to maintain the flame of literature and not diffuse it into smokes.
For this, "Mushaira"—where all the celebrated poets throughout the nation are brought together to create a perfect symphony of love, art and literature; is conducted by none other than QCWF which leaves a taste of heaven and ecstasy in everyone's heart. Students from this society partake in various competitions from all over the nation and grab the titles of winners and champions! As of right now, this official website of QCWF is designed by hard working Media Head (2023-2024) "Ahmar Manzoor",under the supervision of the President (2023—2024) "Ali Mukhtar".
